ICT definition

 

Basically, information is a data which a learning process will make it as a knowledge. in other words, the learning process itself is a procees to acquire,use and tranform the information into knowledge. IT competency,the ability to analyze the information and use it, and the ability to utilize such information for the purpose of knowledge is very important and crucial for the above process to be implemented.

Communication is the interaction between human and culture but now has been going through new dimension after connected it with the word 'information' and 'technology'.

Technology is not limited to internet,connections,CD-ROM,video,TV and anything that goes technical but also the term 'information technolohy' involved the usage of internet and communication connections. in educational world,'information technology' can be be divided into parts which are;

1. Computer technology such as computer-based course modules, computerized evaluation, word-processing software and graphic, wordsheet, database and presentations.

2. Telecommunication software that offers long-distance learning, source widening through educations, e-mail, video conferencing, bulletin board, and chatting.

The usage of ICT with the correct ideology,systematic, and suitable with the needs in learning
